Our dear friend Becky Carpenter from One Day Closer Ministries shared a wonderful truth: God not only loves us, He loves through us.
As the nation watches our neighbors in the Houston and surrounding areas hit by Hurricane Harvey, I pray they see more than rising waters. I pray they see the ‘Living’ water of Jesus displayed through the hearts of Texans.
God not only loves us, He loves through us.
The loving hearts of the first responders, good samaritans, volunteers, neighbors, and even strangers ALL coming together as ‘one.’
Hearts filled with LOVE have eyes that only see love!
When we come together as one to selflessly serve one another, we honor and glorify the One who deserves all our praise.
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:30-31
