For a lot of families Easter Sunday is about dying and decorating eggs, wearing Easter clothes and shoes, and enjoying delicious food.

But what makes the holiday so special is the celebration of the resurrection of our savior, Jesus Christ! Easter Sunday represents the freedom we have in a new life with God.

Because of His grace, our sins are forgiven, and we have the promise that we will receive abundant joy and be with our Father in Heaven. What better way to honor our Lord on Easter with Easter Bible Scriptures.

And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, ³but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.

Luke 24:2-3

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, ²⁶ and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?”

John 11:25-26

And with great power the apostles were giving testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and abundant grace was upon them all.

Acts 4:33

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead…

1 Peter 1:3

Mark 15:46-47

Luke 23:46-47
