Lauren Daigle the KVNE Artist you’d recognize from songs like “ O’Lord” or “How Can it Be?” has been given amazing opportunity to take her songs about Jesus and her ministry onto a platform that is not typically inviting of Christian artists. She will be appearing on the Talk Show Ellen DeGeneres.

It reminds me of how Jesus often chose those that were not particularly religious, not ones that would be invited into the sanctuary with the Rabbis.

I’m reminded of his visit at the well with not only a woman, but a Samaritan woman and one whose life was not considered pure. He called Zacchaeus down out of the tree and invited himself to his home.

I am praying that Lauren will continue to be given opportunities to be a true image of Jesus in places and on platforms where the gifts he has given her to sing will allow her to glorify him through song and through her own story.

I’m also praying for whomever it was working for the show, who decided to have Lauren come. Because this is an amazing way for Jesus to be held up before a national audience.
