Hey, it’s Carrie Parsons! I hope you’re having a great day today! Ya know, I was thinking about my mom and how when Iw as a kid she would tell me, “Hey, don’t hang out with the wrong crowd. Ya know, what? It’s the wrong crowd, first of all, but they’re doing bad things, it’s a bad influence on you. And not only that, people are going to associate you with that crowd and that’s not a good thing!”

I think my mom knew that because she had been there before, she lived that, she’d done that, so she wanted to make sure I was safe and wanted to take care of me.

I was thinking about this verse in the Bible in the book of John. It says

“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” — John 14:6

And here’s the thing with your life: God knows what your outcome because He knows everything. Kind of like our parents knew everything, but He really knows everything! And so you can take comfort in knowing He wants to lead you in the very best way. So, just like we want to lead our kids in the best way, God wants to lead us too.
